Samsung on Wednesday launched a new SSD that capabilities Zoned Namespace (ZNS) engineering aimed at business servers.
The new PM1731a comes in a 2.5-inch sort component, attributes twin ports, and will be available with both 2TB or 4TB storage. The SSD was developed with the firm’s sixth-generation V-NAND.
Its biggest differentiating issue in comparison to other SSDs is it uses ZNS technology centered on the specification set by the NVMe organisation.
