Anthony N. Diina formulated his entrepreneurial skills early.
Though continue to in grammar university, Diina scoped out the most profitable paper routes in his North Buffalo neighborhood, shoveled sidewalks for the biggest tippers, and even built and bought lifestyle-sizing Santa Claus cutouts as decorations for Xmas to keep a step ahead of the competitiveness.
Mr. Diina, who used many years as a promoting govt for banking institutions, as very well as working his personal businesses, died April 20 at his household in North Buffalo. He was 73.
His tale started on Buffalo’s West Side, where he lived in a modest Auburn Avenue condominium with his mother and father, two brothers, an aunt and an uncle. The household later on moved to Tacoma Avenue in North Buffalo.
In 1965, Mr. Diina graduated from Bishop Fallon Substantial Faculty, and earned a whole scholarship to Canisius College.
He graduated in 1969, and went on to earn a master’s in company administration in marketing and advertising and quantitative methods in 1971.
Mr. Diina held a selection of executive marketing and advertising and management positions at several banks, like Empire of The us, M&T Lender and HSBC Bank.
He also served as CEO for a number of other firms.
